UNL PGM Golf Team Wins Annual CONE Cup Competition

The 13th annual CONE Cup competition was held on October 24th and 25th, 2020 in Edmond, Okla. The CONE Cup is a yearly two-day match play competition between the PGA Golf Management (PGM) programs at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL) and the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO).

Fall Group Lessons Start at Wilderness Ridge

October 15, 2020

Group lessons began on Tuesday of this week with PGA professionals Sarah Pravecek and Mike Schuchart providing instruction on playing from bunkers at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course in Lincoln, Neb. PGA Golf Management students received one-on-one instruction from a PGA professional on how to navigate and find success in playing from greenside bunkers.

PGM Coordinator Saves Man from Choking at Country Club

A dramatic rescue took place on the evening of June 27th following the annual Plainview Open golf tournament at the Plainview Country Club in Plainview, Neb., an event that many PGA Golf Management graduates and affiliates compete in every year.
